BookFest @ Malaysia (第九届海外华文书市) is back!
Established since 2006 with an aim to showcase leading publishers, exhibit the latest innovative stationery, CD and Multimedia products. The much anticipated fair has more than 600 booths, allowing hundreds of publishing houses, book and stationery distributors from all over Asia to present and display their goods.
BookFest @ Malaysia, co-organised with Sin Chew Daily, is deemed as one of the largest book expositions held in the region. The consumer fair will feature publishers from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Belgium, Singapore and Malaysia with millions of books from the latest and best collections of Chinese, English and Malay titles in pavilions known as the Chinese and English Pavilion respectively. BookFest also acts as a platform for both local and international authors to present their creative writings for all to see and admire.
There are also many exciting events and activities lined up throughout the fair’s duration such as interesting workshops, forums, book launchings, meet-and-greet sessions with authors and personalities, competitions as well as cultural activities. Visitors too may have the chance to take home fabulous prizes.
The programmes are divided into 2 segments:

1) Exhibition 
The exhibition showcases the latest books published in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Belgium, Singapore and Malaysia. BookFest @ Malaysia 2014 officially launches on 25 July 2014. The exhibition will open from 10 am to 10 pm daily starting from 26 July till 3 August 2014. Admission is RM 2.50 per ticket. FREE admission is given to students 18 years old & below and senior citizens 60 years old & above.

2) Events 
There are many fun-filled and exciting activities organised throughout BookFest @ Malaysia such as meet-the-authors sessions, fun time for children, games and activities, performances, contests and many more. Chinese-inclined events will be held in Main Stage @ Hall 1 while the English-inclined events will be held in Stage @ Hall 5.
